With the Emerald Golem defeated, the pedestal rose back up with a rumble. Lindsky dashed away from the remains of the Emerald Golem and gently picked up the pendant. Flipping it over, she saw two initials carved into the cool metallic surface. ‘V.L…. That's my great-grandmother, Veresity Lynch!’ Mesmerised, she put the pendant around her neck. With a sudden flash, the pendant imbedded itself in Lindsky’s chest, and wouldn’t budge even when Lindsky yanked at it. ‘What should we do?’ groaned Lindsky anxiously, grasping the pendant. ‘We can visit the village healer?’ suggested Iris, so they climbed out of the tunnel and trekked back to the village.
