The Wither-3

I dug straight down. Not in the street, dummy, in my basement. I hoped there would be no intercrossing cave system, but I obviously had rotten luck. One of the downsides of digging straight down is you never know if there is lava or a cave beneath you. In this case, it was the latter. The cavern was at least 50 blocks tall, I had the honour of falling from the very top. Time slowed. I checked my inventory. Cobblestone. Diorite. Pork chop. Empty bucket. I spied a waterfall a few blocks away. I'll never reach it. I moved the empty bucket to my hotbar. I swiped at the water. I didn't know if I got it. I closed my eyes. I swiped down.

SPOOSH.

I opened my eyes. A puddle of water was at my feet.

I survived.

I scooped the water back up with the bucket. If I were to build a Nether portal, I would need that water to make obsidian for the portal. Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you my plan. Since the map's shown location was in the Nether, I planned to construct a Nether portal then figure out where the cross was. I've never really been in the Nether before, but I know it's like swimming in lava. 'Searching for lava it is!' I said.
